The Value Web is participating in the first annual World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University, hosted by the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. We have designed and will be supporting 12 working sessions over the course of three days on the topics (overarching) of Bringing About Change, Economic Activities Reducing Greenhouse Emissions, and Infrastructure. The session will open with a conversation with Dr. John Hood, Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford, and Mr. James Murdoch of the Times (UK), followed by an introductory speech by Professor David King of the University of Oxford, and a scene setting address by Lord Browne of Madingley from Riverstone Europe, LLP (UK). Over the course of the three days the 200+ participants will engage with each other exploring models for low carbon growth. Closing the session will be Al Gore. We’ll report more as it happens!

We are building a website to capture the outputs in (near) real time. You can visit the website here to explore the session outputs. We’ll be updating this over the course of the next 3 days.
