The Value Web is proud to introduce a series of Visual Practice Workshops that will touch three different regions in the next 8 months. We will start in Asia (Taipei) and continue into 2017 with sessions in Europe (Turin) and North America (Toronto).
Value Web members Kelvy Bird, Alfredo Carlo, Jayce Lee and Ripley Lin combine almost 50 years of experience to design and deliver these programs. They will specifically address the role of visuals in facilitating interactions, generating insight, improving conversations, and offering possibilities for transforming society.
Each program is intended for working graphic facilitators, as well as those interested in the power of visuals to support change initiatives. The focus will be on experiential learning, with a very hands-on approach. Over the three days, we will apply best practices to simulated and real cases, approaching the time as a collective learning journey. The following elements, among others, will anchor the workshop:
– The role of visual practice and facilitation
– Approaches of scribing across four levels
– Frameworks for inner cultivation of practice
– Exercises with built-in feedback loops
– Reflection to gain perspective and deepen understanding
– Conditions for self-care and wellbeing within this work
